The Freeport Seventh-day Adventist Christian Church  was started in July of 1979 with a small group of charter  members from the Freeport-Yarmouth area. The charter  members rented the Congregational Church in  downtown Freeport for several years, until the church  moved onto the property of Pine Tree Acadmey using  their facilities. In 1983, the Freeport Church started  construction of their church building on the property  adjacent to Pine Tree Academy. Finally, after months of  hard work the Freeport Seventh-day Adventist Church  was able to move into their beautiful new building  where they now worship. Since its small beginnings the  Freeport Seventh-day Adventist Church has grown  considerably. As you get to know us we hope you can  come and check us out and become a part of the  Freeport Seventh-day Adventist Church's history.
